In 1965 Trail of lights was at the beginning a small gathering of people trying to get inspired by Christmas spirit and using lights. Over the past 50 years\, the community has grown and this event becomes a traditional moment of the year. Last year\, 400 000 people attended the festival\, this event is run by The Trail of Lights Foundation\, an independent nonprofit corporation dedicated to producing the Austin Trail of Lights as an authentically Austin community celebration. \n  \n  \n
