Les Safra’Numériques 2017 // Amiens

The Safran, a venue for multidisciplinary dissemination, presents the second edition of the Safra’Numériques in Amiens from 7 to 11 February. New metropolitan cultural event, the programming of this highlight is articulated exclusively around the discovery of Digital Arts and New Technologies.
In total, some 40 unusual artistic proposals, mostly free, will occupy the 4,500 m2 of the establishment for curious routes: installations, exhibitions, transdisciplinary shows up to the virtual immersions.
Since the emergence of new technologies and their popularization, the sphere of art has undergone a real transformation. Augmented reality, generative art and interactive art have become true aesthetic find amply their place within the works and places of artistic diffusion.
Based on a resource area and partners who are experts in new technologies, Le Safran is keen to develop a contemporary program that focuses on highlighting these new artistic languages.
